What to do when something goes wrong with your computer or laptop

LIQUID DAMAGES

In this unfortunate circumstance immediately turn off your device, disconnect it from the power source and remove the battery if possible. Do not try to turn it back on in the next 48 hours. The best thing to do is to take it apart, soak up as much liquid as possible and wait for it to totally dry out.

Try and look for your files in the Recycle bin. If you can't locate them, then don't use the computer; the files are likely still there and you risk to overwrite them with other data. If you bring it to us, we will do our best to get your data back.

OVERHEATING

If your computer or laptop suddenly turns itself off, that could be a sign of overheating. When you hear the fans spin on high revs all the time then probably the cooling system needs to be cleaned out. We are happy to do it for you.

If your device makes strange noises or doesn't even start, then it is probably a hard disk failure. Unfortunately in most of the cases it needs to be replaced. The sooner it gets to us, the more data can be saved.
